Needed a tire replaced and fortunately the shop did an inspection and found my other tires were pretty bad! They got me a great price on quality tires and got my vehicle back to me right away. OLD OX tire and auto Grace was super friendly when I walked in to the shop. I had a low pressure in my rear tire. I had a bolt in my tire and they patched it. I was in and out with in 30 minutes . After a dealership service outfit told me that I needed to replace my rear brake pads and the estimated cost I decided to I needed to do some research on alternative and hopefully more reasonably priced options (or at least verify that the estimate they gave me was reasonable because it sounded fishy to me). I found Old Ox Tire & Auto on Google and noticed all the good reviews. I called them and Jason was able to answer all my questions and provide a detailed estimate for my rear brake replacement and indeed it was a lot more reasonably and fairly priced. I was able to schedule quickly and to my convenience. When I brought my vehicle in that is when the real customer service began! Jason again gave a very detailed estimate of how they will do a full inspection, will communicate with me about their findings, and a complete estimate of the work I requested, and how long it will take. It should be noted that as a woman that I was treated both professionally and personably and making me feel very confident in proceeding with the work. To my great surprise, Jason called to tell me that I did not in fact need to have my brakes replaced and that the tech had even double checked! It would have been very easy for them to go ahead and do the work that I brought the car in for and I would have still been happy. To know that they were so honest and forthright has made me a permanent customer in the future. I did have my regular oil and filter change and was advised about some fluid flush that so. So believe all these 5 star reviews for this tiny shop in Brookland! You will not be disappointed in their work, their rates, or their ethics! Forever grateful to have found them.

This shop is always A+. Never a hassle and no annoying upsell. When they tell you you need something YOU NEED IT. They ordered my tires, called me when they came in, were flexible with the schedule, and had them on and ready within the same day! I go here because of the trust, convenience, and peace of mind.

Great customer service, fair pricing, reasonable turnaround time! I dropped my vehicle off for an oil change and it was completed really quickly and they put air in my tires! I didn’t ask them too, but it is apparently a part of their policy. Since I was about to make a long drive I really appreciated this little detail.

I can’t thank them enough for helping me fill up my tires!! I’ve been trying to find somewhere for weeks that has a pressure gauge until someone recommended this shop. I’m not well versed on car mechanics and Mario was patient and very helpful with giving me info on how to keep my tires healthy and full. Quick and efficient! Fantastic communication, reasonable prices, and friendly service. They were able to quickly diagnose the problem, give me a quote, and set to work with much less downtime than expected. I hit a patch of back ice on a turn and it really screwed up my tire. Most people thought it would take weeks to get it fixed. Nope! Had it towed to this shop on a friend's recommendation and it was done in no time! Even better, they were able to stick to the quoted price! I hope I don't have such a mishap again but I now know where I'm going when it's time for maintenance! No frills, straight to the point, no pushy sales pitches, get it in, and get it done!
